The little ray of sunshine from Barbados with her light sound in hits like "Pon the Replay", quickly evolved over her next few albums to brave the male dominated world and prove that women are still powerful, intelligent, sensual beings. Rihanna, unlike many other women in society, embraces her sexuality, a thing that is frowned upon in society as being negative. She is not afraid to let every aspect of her personality shine through even in the face of adversity. She is a real woman and I Believe that she is an inspiration to us all! She teaches women that they shouldn't be afraid of their sensual nature for it is truly a beautiful thing and it is one of the many things that make us unique, that make us women and give us the power all women possess.

Okay as most of you may already know, i now play volleyball. ( for the simple fact that i can't shut up about it lol!) I've only been playing for a couple months now but it has become my activity of choice. There is nothing i would rather do and i am sure there are many people that would agree with me.
Our theme for this year is RPP, relentlessly pursuing perfection. Now we all know that perfection is one of the most elusive things in this world for the simple fact that it is a very subjective thing. Perfection means different things to different people. The reason that we chose to pursue perfection is for the simple fact that whilst we are trying to be perfect we will achieve excellence.
I have adapted to this theme quite quickly and decided to apply it to every aspect of my life and I am already beginning to reap the rewards. It encourages me to do my very best in everything I do. Remember, the difference between excellence and mediocrity is that excellence does, mediocrity tried.
I have found my inspiration. Volleyball motivates me to aspire for excellence in every aspect of my life. What motivates you?
